It's funny you mention this. I live in New York and one of the local conservative authors went on television recently and said
"March of the Penguins is another example of a great American movie, along with the Passion of the Christ and Gone with the Wind. Maybe this will show those liberals at Cannes what a real movie is."
I died laughing because, of course, this is a French documentary.
This is yet another example of how messed up things are here at the moment. I doubt half the people who are praising this movie as a "fine example of monogomy and parenthood" have even watched it.
